My mom turned 60 this month. The occassion inspired me to drive down to Albuquerque with Kaliber and visit for 9 days! Poor Remington stayed home and was near insanity by the time we came back home. Since we were in "the big city," we did many things that are very uncommon in our small town of 3,500. Kale got to go to an amusement park where he was thrilled to ride the doggies and go up and down. We also went to the aquarium and botanical gardens. He was in awe of the large stingrays and sharks that swam about him. We ate out more than I would like to admit and I truely believe he gained 5 lbs while we were gone! Overall, it was a great way to kick off the summer. Now it's time to tackle painting my kitchen, swimming at grandma's pool, camping, fishing, and many other summer adventures.

Going up and down on the doggies.

I asked him to say cheese and he did!! This is his first "cheesy" picture.

Kaliber and cousin Jaron take on a giant ant!

Uncle David and Kaliber are shocked at all the large fish.

Who is this imposter next to me?!
